Help Portrait Cork

In an earlier post I talked about a very unique event I had volunteered for, called Help Portrait, Cork. This happened in December and this is what it was all about..

Help Portrait, Cork

I will have the pleasure of being part of Help Portrait in Cork this coming Sunday, Dec 5th, at the Clarion Hotel between 10am-4pm. Founded by Celebrity Photographer Jeremy Cowart, Help-Portrait is a community of photographers, coming together across the world to use their photography skills to give back to their local community.

We hope to photograph the homeless, underpriveliged families, the elderly, sick children, single Mums/Dads and their children and anyone else who can’t normally afford to have their portrait taken in their lifetime. There will be make-up artists on site and some great photographers including Roger Overall (who is organising Help Portrait in Cork), so no half measures will be taken in producing these special portraits.
